Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell shoots in for a takedown but The Finish shows good takedown defense.
The Finish wants to clinch.
The Finish tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Howell paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and The Finish holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The Finish breaks from the clinch.

and The Finish counters with a good, hard body kick but Howell shrugs it off.
Howell is breathing heavily.
A slow jab from The Finish misses its intended target.

and The Finish counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Finish.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grace Howell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Finish drops Howell with a left right combo! The Finish follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Grace Howell has been cut.

The Finish cracks Howell with a big right hand but Howell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Howell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee asks The Finish politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. The Finish prefers to stall for the moment though.

The Finish is working to tighten is grip on Howell's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Howell has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but The Finish is really squeezing tight and eventually Howell passes out! The Finish breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
