Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Fairs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tango Romeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairs comes to the cage accompanied by Dmx Aint no Sunshine. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Fairs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tango Romeo!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romeo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Romeo stuffs the takedown.
Romeo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fairs shoots for a takedown but Romeo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Romeo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fairs avoids it really well and circles away.

Fairs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fairs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Romeo as he avoids it easily.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Romeo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fairs pulls his head out easily.

Romeo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tango Romeo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Romeo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Fairs wants to get back to his feet but Romeo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Romeo distracts Fairs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Romeo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fairs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fairs is looking to take a break and control but Romeo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tango Romeo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well Romeo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
