Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CM Brizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayson Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, CM Brizz!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brizz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
CM Brizz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frank tries to clinch up but Brizz circles away and keeps his distance.
Frank moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Frank moves into the clinch.
Brizz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Brizz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Frank is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Brizz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Frank pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jayson Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CM Brizz.
Brizz can't break the clinch.
Frank wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brizz has him pressed against the cage.
Brizz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Frank breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Frank tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brizz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brizz lands with a nice combination. Frank backs away looking to recover.
Frank tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Frank closes the distance and clinches.
Frank is trying to break the clinch but Brizz is controlling him.
Brizz tries to score a body lock takedown but Frank shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Frank lands a right hand.

Brizz is trying to pull guard but Frank turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Frank manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Brizz with that takedown attempt.
Frank tries to clinch up but Brizz circles away and keeps his distance.

Frank closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frank slips a nice elbow through Brizz's hands, connecting with Brizz's forehead.
Frank wants to get back to his feet.
Frank looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brizz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Frank lands a nice short elbow.

Frank shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Frank showed some decent athleticism there.
Brizz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Frank not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Frank seems to be working for a kimura but Brizz defends the submission attempt.
Brizz is trying to maintain the position but Frank is very close to passing his half guard.
Frank has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Frank tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Brizz.
Frank takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Frank escapes and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frank doesn't manage to clinch there - Brizz circles away.
Frank shoots for a double leg takedown but Brizz sprawls well. He's pushed Frank's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Frank leaves Brizz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brizz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brizz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Frank connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brizz scrambles back to his feet.

Frank tries to stall but Brizz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Frank breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Frank shoots in for a takedown but Brizz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Brizz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Frank's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Frank wants to break the clinch but can't.
Frank misses with some punches.

Frank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Frank. No joy for Brizz on that attempt.

Frank manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Frank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frank misses with a takedown attempt - Brizz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Frank shoots for a takedown but Brizz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Frank decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brizz's guard.

Frank lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Frank wanted to stand there but Brizz had control of the position.
Frank makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Frank decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brizz, up you get!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Frank has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
