Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Butterball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Butterball is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black avoids the head kick by Butterball.
Butterball slips a jab and a cross from Black.

Butterball darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Butterball is keen to just control but Black is a slippery customer.
Butterball is thwarting Black's attempts to control the position.
Butterball throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Butterball tries to pass to full mount but Black defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Butterball blocks a head kick by Black.
Black connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Butterball looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Butterball tries to clinch but Black moves out of range.
Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Butterball gets a takedown into half guard.
Butterball is looking to advance position but Black won't allow it.

Butterball is working for a submission of some sort.
Butterball is pressing down on Black's thigh, looking to free his foot. Black is holding on for now.

Black misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Butterball tries to pass to full mount but Black defends it.
Black is trying to stand back up but Butterball is controlling him

Butterball is looking for a kimura but Black is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Butterball to get the leverage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Butterball pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Black clinches.

Black pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Black misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Butterball.

Butterball changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Black looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Black can't do much from the bottom here.
Black throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Butterball working the strikes but Black uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Butterball is trying to control the action in half guard but Black is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Black is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Butterball scores with a couple of nice shots.
Black is looking to control Butterball's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Black avoid being mounted?
Butterball frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Butterball goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Black is on top in guard.

Butterball is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Butterball is breathing heavily.
Butterball wants to sweep but no luck.

Butterball looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Black passes into half guard.
Black trying to control from half guard but Butterball is working away.

Butterball is trying desperately to improve position.
Butterball wants to control but Black is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Butterball will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Black throws the kick towards the body but Butterball avoids it.
Butterball lands a with a good body shot.

Butterball darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Butterball is working for a kimura but Black is defending it quite comfortably.
Black manages to get to full guard.
Butterball is looking to advance position but Black has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Butterball tries to hold on but Black pushes him away.
Butterball really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Black wants to control the pace but Butterball is squirming around nicely.
Black prevents Butterball from getting the reversal.
Black avoids the attempt from Butterball to control.
Butterball tries to reverse the position but Black maintains control.
Black takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Black is breathing heavily.

Black is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Butterball can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Butterball might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Butterball bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Butterball stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Butterball is working hard here to advance position.
Butterball prevents Black from getting back to his feet.

Butterball drops back looking for a leg! Black is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Black manages to kick Butterball off! Butterball jumps back into Black's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Butterball trying to control but Black is working from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Black can't keep his opponent in guard - Butterball advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Butterball is trying for a kimura here. Black looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Butterball wins by kimura!
