Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Wobinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jake Wobinson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Wobinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luke Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan misses with a looping right.

Wobinson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wobinson is looking to take a break and control but Sullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wobinson seems to be working for a kimura but Sullivan defends the submission attempt.

Wobinson wants to work for an arm triangle but Sullivan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wobinson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wobinson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sullivan won't allow Wobinson to pass to mount.

Sullivan is looking for a sweep. Wobinson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Wobinson has hold of Sullivan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sullivan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wobinson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sullivan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sullivan and Wobinson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
What's Sullivan going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Sullivan is looking to reverse the position.

Wobinson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wobinson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sullivan is avoiding damage well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sullivan wants to control but Wobinson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wobinson slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Sullivan.

Wobinson is trying to work for a kimura but Sullivan is defending well.

Wobinson feints and as Sullivan raises his hands in defense, Wobinson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sullivan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wobinson manages to get himself to full guard.

Sullivan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wobinson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sullivan has managed to get both his arms back between Wobinson's legs - danger averted.
