Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McGuinness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuinness has chosen Ain't a party without me as his entrance music. Frito Lei has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

27 - 81 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connor McGuinness!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lei looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
McGuinness lands a jab-cross combination.
McGuinness's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and McGuinness duly obliges.
McGuinness jabs Lei right on the nose. Lei blinks but takes it well.
McGuinness thuds his right hand into Lei's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGuinness lands with a right hand.
McGuinness shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lei eats them both and turns towards McGuinness to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
McGuinness lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
McGuinness takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A jab lands there for McGuinness.
McGuinness scores with a hook to the body. Lei takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've been told by Lei's head coaches at Extreme MMA (6 Elites $250/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Frito Lei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuinness jabs at Lei's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuinness connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lei throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
McGuinness shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lei eats them both and turns towards McGuinness to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A decent looking cross lands there for McGuinness.
Lei throws a sloppy head kick and McGuinness moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lei has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lei there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lei wants to clinch but McGuinness slips to the side
and McGuinness counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McGuinness works over Lei's head and body with a nice combination.
Lei is rocked!
Lei takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh Lei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGuinness throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lei tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from McGuinness does it's job there.
Good shot there by McGuinness.
Lei has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
