Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Meah Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Spackman Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Spackman Jnr!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spackman Jnr wants to clinch.

Spackman Jnr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Spackman Jnr showed some decent athleticism there.
Robertson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Spackman Jnr postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Robertson to stand up.
Spackman Jnr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Spackman Jnr is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Robertson can't fight it off and eventually Spackman Jnr manages to take the fight to the floor. Robertson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Spackman Jnr wants the takedown. Robertson is fighting it off but Spackman Jnr persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Robertson's guard against the cage.

Robertson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Spackman Jnr is trying to trip Robertson. He has hold of a leg but Robertson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Spackman Jnr persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Robertson is trying to drag Spackman Jnr to the mat but Spackman Jnr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Robertson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Spackman Jnr's brow.

Spackman Jnr creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Robertson's defenses.
Robertson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Spackman Jnr just stands there and leans against the cage.

Spackman Jnr works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Spackman Jnr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robertson is proving hard to escape from.

Robertson closes the distance but Spackman Jnr moves to the side

and Spackman Jnr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Spackman Jnr ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spackman Jnr no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Spackman Jnr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Harry Spackman Jnr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Robertson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Spackman Jnr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Robertson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Spackman Jnr in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Robertson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Spackman Jnr!
