The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lennon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lennon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Brock is trying to work for a sweep but Lennon has mounted him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lennon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Brock is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Lennon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brock has worked his arm free - good work by Brock!
Brock is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lennon off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Lennon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lennon is still trying to improve position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lennon trying to control the action but Brock just sinks the hooks in.
Lennon is really stuck here.
Brock is not going to allow Lennon to sit and survive in this position.
Lennon is trapped and Brock is scoring with shots to the head and body.

I really don't envy Lennon right now.
Brock is punishing Lennon with some ground and pound.
Lennon wants to control his opponent's hands but Brock gets his hands free.
Brock cracks Lennon with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Lennon from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Brock keeps control of the position as Lennon tries to break free.

Brock lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Lennon is covering up but some of the strikes from Brock are getting through and doing damage.
Brock lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Lennon just trying to survive but Brock is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Brock lands a good shot there. Lennon covers up! Brock smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Lennon to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Brock jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
