The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ablatino misses with a combination
and English counters with a lovely straight right hand!
English lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ablatino throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ablatino takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Ablatino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. English quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ablatino wants to lay and pray for a moment but English keeps working.

Ablatino stands up out of the half guard.

Ablatino drops English with a right and a left! Ablatino comes rushing in but English regains his composure and manages to keep Ablatino in guard.

English is rocked!

It looks like Carlo English has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ablatino gets to his feet and stands over English, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! English felt that one! Ablatino unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save English from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tino Ablatino!
