Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rogers Pinkelton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fred Fernando! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernando shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pinkelton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pinkelton manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Fernando scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Pinkelton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fernando is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Pinkelton manages to get to full guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Fernando wants to control from the top but Pinkelton keeps moving. Fernando must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fernando is looking to advance position but Pinkelton has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Fernando working to try and regain half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pinkelton working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Fernando is just holding on here. Pinkelton manages to take his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fernando is trying to roll into a better position but Pinkelton has get a rear naked choke and Fernando is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
