Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Salva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Salva as Rage shoots in.
Rage fails with the takedown.

Salva takes the fight into the clinch.
Salva will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rage up against the cage.
Salva is trying to drag Rage to the mat but Rage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Salva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tim Salva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Rage.
Rage throws a right and a left that Salva avoids nicely.

Salva has closed the distance and engaged Rage in a clinch.
Rage tries to pull guard but Salva holds him up against the cage and eventually Rage drops back down to his feet.

Salva has clasped his hands together around Rage's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Rage gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Salva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Salva counters with a single leg into guard. Rage didn't expect that.

Rage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Salva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rage wants to stand and escape but Salva is having none of it.
Salva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Salva counters with a shoot takedown. Rage fights it but they end up in guard.

Salva clinches up with Rage and pushes him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Salva takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Rage is trying to drag Salva to the mat but Salva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Salva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Salva manages to end up in side control.
Rage sneaks back into half guard.

Salva stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Rage to get to his feet.
Rage scores with a hook to the body. Salva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Salva is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
Salva moves forwards but Rage connects with a nice, crisp jab.
