The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rose checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rose connects with a solid leg kick.
Rose fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Musashi manages to avoid it.
A jab from Musashi misses.
Rose is looking to clinch but Musashi is avoiding it.
Rose connects with the punch.
Musashi misses the shot to the body.
Rose tries to bum rush Musashi with a series of wild strikes but Musashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Musashi swats away the attempt to clinch by Rose.

Nice takedown defense from Rose. No joy for Musashi on that attempt.

Rose lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Musashi tries to clinch but Rose is having none of it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rose darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Musashi shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Musashi tries to stall but Rose uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The referee is keeping an eye on Musashi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Rose avoids the body shot from Musashi.
Musashi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rose connects with a crisp jab.

Rose throws out a loose jab but Musashi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Musashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Rose finish him?
Rose scoring well with a low kick there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rose drives through and clinches with Musashi against the cage.
Clinched against the cage, Rose lands a big elbow that drops Musashi! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Musashi is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hell Rose!

Hell Rose decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
