The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hatzis is fending him off so far but Ly persists. Nope, Hatzis circles away and we're back to standing.
Hatzis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hatzis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ly to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ly preventing the sweep.
Hatzis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ly's guard.
Ly wants to improve his position but instead Hatzis has moved into half guard.
Ly tries to roll over but Hatzis keeps him under control.
Hatzis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like Bel Ly has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ly gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hatzis pushes down on Ly's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ly trying to control but Hatzis postures up.
Ly on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hatzis lands a nice short elbow.

Bel Ly's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bel Ly's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
