Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Twisted Fate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunky McDrunkerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDrunkerson shoots for a takedown but Fate saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fate tries to clinch but McDrunkerson is having none of it.

Fate closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McDrunkerson wants to improve his position but Fate is controlling well.
Fate stops McDrunkerson from getting back to his feet.
Fate has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, McDrunkerson works to full guard.

Fate shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McDrunkerson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Drunky McDrunkerson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
McDrunkerson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fate manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fate stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fate wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Twisted Fate will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well McDrunkerson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
