Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Kootz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rage Kootz!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kootz jabs Anstey right on the nose. Anstey blinks but takes it well.
Anstey ducks right into an uppercut from Kootz.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kootz.
Kootz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kootz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Anstey on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kootz throws out a loose jab but Anstey uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rage Kootz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kootz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kootz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Anstey.

Rage Kootz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kootz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
