Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohan Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barclay wants to clinch.
Barclay misses with a kick to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Pope as Barclay shoots in.
Pope tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barclay swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pope accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Barclay has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pope off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Barclay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barclay wants it to stay on the feet.

Barclay goes for a double leg but Pope avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pope continues to drive forward.

Pope stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barclay.
