Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wedge Xiii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Witt comes to the cage accompanied by Animal by Disturbed. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Witt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wedge Xiii!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Xiii throws out the jab.
Xiii tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Witt was well out of range. Poor timing from Xiii.
Xiii tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Witt defends well and Xiii ends up having to push Witt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Witt is working Xiii over against the cage.
Witt throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Xiiis head.

Witt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Witt manages to end up in side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Xiii tries to buck Witt off but Witt is having none of it.

Xiii regains half guard there - taking advantage of Witt's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Witt prevents Xiii from improving his position.
Xiii is looking to control Witt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Xiii avoid being mounted?
Witt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Witt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Well, if Witt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Xiii trying to hold on to Witt's head to control him but Witt postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Xiii tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Xiii dives in for a single leg takedown but Witt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Xiii jumps guard.
Witt is looking to work some ground and pound but Xiii has wrist control.
Witt won't allow Xiii to sweep him here.
Xiii has momentary wrist control but Witt slips an elbow through the middle.
Xiii has Witt pulled in close to control his posture.
Witt throws a big elbow that misses.
Witt trying to control but Xiii is working from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Witt connects with a couple of short punches.
Witt is working Xiii over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Xiii bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Witt's guard.
Witt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Witt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Xiii controls the pace.

Xiii got a little sloppy there for a moment and Witt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Xiii has managed to get both his arms back between Witt's legs - danger averted.
Witt tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Xiii is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Witt has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Xiii is looking to defend but Witt has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Xiii! Witt pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Xiii taps out and this one is all over!
