PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Sonny Bill Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hussle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uru's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Man - Aloe Blacc. Mike Hussle told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uru was well out of range. Poor timing from Hussle.
Uru lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hussle throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hussle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uru.
Hussle looks to score with a jab to the body but Uru is just out of range.
Uru with a hook.
Hussle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Uru stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Uru misses with a two punch combination.
Uru takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Uru slips a straight right by Hussle.
Uru throws out a loose jab but Hussle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Uru has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ford Lane Fight Factory in the buildup to the fight.
Hussle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hussle scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Sonny Bill Uru has been cut.
Uru throws a series of punches but Hussle moves out of range.
Uru wants to clinch.

Hussle throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Uru takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hussle misses with a looping right.

Hussle throws a series of punches but Uru avoids them all with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Uru throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hussle sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Uru walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Hussle rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Uru has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Hussle scores with a hook to the body. Uru takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
BAM! Hussle delivers a spinning backfist that drops Uru like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Mike Hussle tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
