Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Mayorga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mayorga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Case enables Mayorga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Case manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mayorga got a little sloppy there for a moment and Case has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mayorga has managed to get both his arms back between Case's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mayorga avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Case could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Case is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mayorga frees his head nicely. Oh but Case has switched to an armbar! Mayorga is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
