Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Ship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tucker comes to the cage accompanied by The Platters - Only You. Tucker has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Psycho Ship !
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ship closes the distance and clinches up with Tucker, looking for a takedown. Ship pushes Tucker against the cage but Tucker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ship shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tucker pinned against the cage. Tucker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ship will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Todd Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psycho Ship .
Tucker slaps away a takedown attempt from Ship , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ship should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ship looks for a takedown but Tucker sprawls well.

Ship shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ship passes to side control.
Ship looks up at the clock and then as Tucker takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ship smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tucker is not content to let Ship control the position.
Ship scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tucker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tucker tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ship trying to control the position but Tucker is working away.

Ship working the ground and pound.
Ship has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ship wants to control but Tucker is keeping him busy.
Tucker is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ship asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Ship wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tucker keeps working.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tucker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ship cracks Tucker with a big right hand but Tucker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ship is chipping away with strikes.
Ship prevents Tucker from escaping the position.
Tucker is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ship connects with a decent elbow.
Check out the look on Ship 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Ship creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Ship scores with a couple of short elbows.
Oh Tucker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ship lands a few punches from side control.
Tucker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ship on the ground.
Ship in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ship lands a strong strike to the head of Tucker. That's dazed him! Ship looking to finish here. Tucker is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ship lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Psycho Ship !
Psycho Ship decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Todd Tucker was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you for this opportunity to fight. There's a really nice bridge near my house, I'm going to jump off it.'.
