The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damascus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Damascus shoots for a double leg takedown but Contreiras sprawls well. He's pushed Damascus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fighters circling - Contreiras throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Damascus wants to break free but Contreiras has control.

Contreiras pushes Damascus against the cage. Contreiras is working some dirty boxing. Contreiras pushes off with a quick right hook! Damascus goes down! Damascus tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Contreiras moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
