The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Poli fails with a takedown attempt.
Banner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Banner misses the shot to the body.
A left and a right from Banner both land. Nice combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Banner misses with a two punch combination.
Poli closes this distance looking for a takedown but Banner circles away.
Poli shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banner sprawls well. Banner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Poli gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oko Poli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Banner misses with a hook.

Poli ducks right into an uppercut from Banner.

Banner slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Vince Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poli is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Banner, as that shot connected.
Vince Banner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Banner. Poli does a little dance to reset his feet.
Banner connects with a right hand. Poli shakes it off.
Banner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Banner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Poli misses with a takedown attempt - Banner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good standup being displayed there by Banner as he connects with a hook.
Banner throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Poli stumbling backwards into the cage! Poli bounces back off the cage towards Banner, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Banner lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Banner celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
