Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wally Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Tap will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wally Hoover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Tap!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tap closes the distance and clinches.
Hoover tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tap just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hoover is trying to break the clinch but Tap has him pressed against the cage.
Tap pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tap is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hoover with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoover is in close to Tap's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hoover gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tap looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hoover is holding on to half guard well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tap missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Hoover kicks Tap off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tap slips under a jab.
Tap clinches with his opponent.
Tap doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hoover tries to pull guard but Tap forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Tap pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tap bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hoover has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tap trying to control the action but Hoover is working from the bottom.
Tap goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hoover rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tap's guard! Nice work there by Hoover!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tap is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hoover is controlling him.
Hoover wants to stand but Tap has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hoover decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tap shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tap was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoover is trying to get back to his feet.
Hoover explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoover swinging wildly here.
Hoover lands with a nice combination. Tap backs away looking to recover.
Hoover throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tap throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tap works over Hoover's head and body with a nice combination.
Tap steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hoover.
Wally Hoover is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tap blocks a head kick by Hoover.
Tap throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoover tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tap is in Hoover's guard.
Hoover is breathing heavily.
Hoover has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Tap throwing strikes from guard but Hoover blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hoover is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tap is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoover pulls Tap in close to his closed guard and prevents Tap from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ryan Tap will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tap pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hoover gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tap wants to stand but Hoover has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tap must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hoover has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tap can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hoover looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hoover looking for a triangle here. Tap is fighting it but it looks tight! Hoover pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tap is tapping out - this one is all over!
