The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hurst enables Damiam to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hurst manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hurst is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Damiam wants to stand but Hurst has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hurst wants to hit a switch here but Damiam passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hurst there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hurst is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hurst takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Damiam lands a nice shot to the head.

Hurst is in a horrible position here. Damiam smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Damiam lands a couple of good shots and Hurst has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

I would not like to be Hurst right now.
Hurst defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Damiam lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Hurst hold on?!

Hurst grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Damiam is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hurst with him. Hurst is trying to defend but Damiam has an arm under the chin now! Hurst grimaces and is forced to tap out!
