Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Montgomery Nagendra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nagendra's entrance music is Mozart - Lacrimosa. A fine choice. White is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: If You Want Blood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Montgomery Nagendra!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack White!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagendra shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Nagendra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
White lands a nice shot that snaps Nagendra's head back.
White wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

White closes the distance and clinches.
Our sources have told us that Nagendra has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
White pushes Nagendra back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Montgomery Nagendra has been cut.
White lands with a short shot to the head.
Nagendra is trying to drag White to the mat but White just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
White lands with a left to the head.
Nagendra is looking for a takedown up against the cage. White gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Montgomery Nagendra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice left hand lands by White.

Nagendra works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Nagendra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nagendra's guard.

White throws a big elbow that misses.
White loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Nagendra is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

White is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nagendra lands a nice short elbow.
Nagendra not landing any meaningful shots this time.
White tries to get to full guard but Nagendra has control of the leg.

Nagendra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nagendra is pressing down on White's thigh, looking to free his foot. White is holding on for now.

Nagendra is working for a submission of some sort.
White keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

White is looking to improve his position.
Nagendra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Nagendra is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.
Nagendra is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
White is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nagendra wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

White tries to roll over but Nagendra keeps him under control.

White slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Nagendra stopping the sweep attempt from White.
Nagendra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nagendra is in close to White's body, working some short punches and elbows.
White is controlling Nagendra's posture.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nagendra's guard.
White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nagendra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White is looking to work some ground and pound but Nagendra has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jack White will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Montgomery Nagendra's cut.
That's time! Nagendra's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nice sprawl there from White as Nagendra shoots in.
Nagendra stalks White and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into White's face. White staggers backwards, shaken.
Nagendra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nagendra.
White fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nagendra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Montgomery Nagendra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nagendra goes for a double leg but White avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as White continues to drive forward.

This has been an exciting period of action!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from White.
White lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nagendra backwards.
A left hand lands to the body for White.
White lands a shoulder strike.
White lands a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from White.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
White lands with a short shot to the head.
Nagendra has White pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. White manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

White throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

White lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Nagendra is rocked!

White lands a big left hand right to the temple and Nagendra goes down!
Oh Nagendra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
White working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
White controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Nagendra is out! White gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
