The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koponen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnes.

Koponen dives in for a single leg takedown but Barnes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Koponen tries to clinch up but Barnes pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Koponen to the mat! Koponen covers up and Barnes unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
