Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wally Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Champ Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christopher comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sail kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Champ Christopher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Sloppy strikes from Christopher. Those never looked like landing.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hoover has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hoover stands up from Christopher's guard - Hoover perhaps looking for a knockout.
Hoover throws a series of punches but Christopher avoids them all with ease.
Hoover throws a right hand that Christopher ducks under and follows up with a left that Christopher also avoids with ease.

Hoover ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hoover no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Christopher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hoover is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Christopher presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Hoover has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Christopher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Christopher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hoover has him pressed against the cage.
Christopher lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
