Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josef Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kent is defended easily by Rocha.
Kent throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kent tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rocha defends well and Kent ends up having to push Rocha into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kent decides to pull guard.

Kent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rocha defends well.
Kent is looking to stand up but Rocha isn't so interested in that idea.
Kent wants to sweep here but Rocha controlling him for the moment.

Rocha has his foot on Kent's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kent works his way back into a safe position though.

Rocha stalks Kent and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kent's face. Kent staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close second round but I would say that Josef Rocha will probably get the nod.

We're going to have a standup here because Josef Rocha wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kent shoots in looking for a takedown but Rocha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kent's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rocha tries to avoid it but Kent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rocha to the ground. Rocha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kent or perhaps it was just good defense by Rocha, which made it look bad.
Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rocha. Rocha obviously looking to wear him down.
Kent tries to close the distance and clinch but Rocha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kent rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rocha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

I would just about give that final round to Clark Kent.
Well Kent has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
