Kartella has chosen Rollin as his entrance music. Drake Kartella has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mose Compton's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A nice combination there by Kartella.

Compton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Compton won't allow Kartella to get back to his feet.
Compton throwing strikes but missing.
Kartella wants to get back to his feet but Compton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kartella connects with a good right hand that stumbles Compton. Compton circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Compton tries to clinch up but Kartella circles away and keeps his distance.
Kartella swats away the attempt to clinch by Compton.
Kartella lands with a nice combination. Compton backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Mose Compton has been cut.
Kartella misses with a few strikes there.

Compton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kartella is trying to buck Compton off.

Compton tries for a kimura but Kartella is defending well.

Compton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kartella knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kartella pushes Compton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Compton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Compton decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kartella to his feet.
Kartella throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Compton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Compton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kartella lands with a shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Kartella has knocked Compton down with a huge combo! Kartella steps away and waves a wobbly Compton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Compton is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kartella scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Compton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Compton is breathing heavily.
Compton tries to clinch but Kartella moves away
and Kartella counters with a big left hand that crumples Compton! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
