The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson throws a right and a left that both miss.
John Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson tests Blanco's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Watson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blanco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Blanco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Watson is fending him off so far but Blanco persists. Nope, Watson circles away and we're back to standing.
Blanco has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Blanco closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Watson did well to prevent Blanco getting side control.
Blanco seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Watson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
