The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Vitor.
A punch combination from Vitor misses.
Vitor pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Drake takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Vitor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vitor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Vitor throws the kick towards the body but Drake avoids it.
Vitor misses with a low kick.
Drake keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Vitor throws a leg kick but Drake moved away.
Vitor fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Drake is out of range.
Drake waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vitor.
Drake throws a big shot that misses.
Drake ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vitor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Drake misses with a hook.
Vitor takes one on the button.
Vitor slips a straight right by Drake.
Drake loads up on a big right hand but Vitor slips the punch.
Vitor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Drake.
Vitor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Drake on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake catches Vitor with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Vitor staying out of range there.
Vitor takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Drake tests Vitor's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Drake fails in his attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vitor.

Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vitor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vitor works the jab nicely.

Drake connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vitor's hands.
Vitor throws a right and a left that both miss.
Drake looks to land a left hand but Vitor moved out of range nicely.
Vitor throws a body punch but Drake moves out of range.

Drake bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vitor's head.

Vitor closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Vitor just misses with a punch to the body.
Drake waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vitor.
Sloppy strikes from Drake. Those never looked like landing.
Drake throws a leg kick which misses Vitor's front leg but catches the back leg as Vitor tries to avoid it.
Drake throws a big shot that misses.
Drake throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vitor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Drake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vitor avoids the body shot from Drake.
Vitor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Drake is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vitor had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vitor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Drake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vitor lands a jab to the nose.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vitor catches Drake with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Drake forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
