Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johny Baker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Draiman!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Draiman.
Baker lands a glancing blow to the side of Draiman's head.
Baker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Baker gets a clinch.
Baker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baker rushes Draiman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Baker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Baker misses with a knee strike.
Draiman tries to break the clinch but Baker is controlling the position.
Draiman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baker just stands there and leans against the cage.
Draiman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baker has him pressed against the cage.
Draiman blocks the elbow strike.
Baker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baker throws a right and a left that Draiman avoids nicely.
Baker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Draiman.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baker clinches up against the cage.
Baker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A thudding body kick lands there by Baker!

Draiman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Draiman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baker.
Draiman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Baker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baker looks to land a combination but Draiman avoids it well.
Draiman dodges the punch combination from Baker.
Baker lands a front kick.
Baker misses with a series of wild punches.
Draiman tries to clinch up but Baker circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Baker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Baker blocks a jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Draiman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Baker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A left and a right from Baker both land. Nice combination.
Baker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Draiman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Draiman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A looping hook to the body misses from Draiman. Baker does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Baker connects with a high kick.
Baker drops Draiman with a left and a right! Oh, Draiman is hurt - Baker dives into side control looking to finish!
Draiman is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Draiman is still in real trouble! Can Baker finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Baker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Draiman will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Draiman seems to have recovered his senses.
Baker looking to control but instead Draiman has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Baker trying to control from Draiman's half guard. Draiman has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Baker postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baker has gone for a leg lock! Draiman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Baker's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johny Baker dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Baker swats away the attempt to clinch by Draiman.
Draiman throws a body punch but Baker moves out of range.
No joy there for Baker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Draiman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Baker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Johny Baker is winning the standup battle so far.
Baker gets in close and tags Draiman with a short punch that almost sends Draiman to the mat! Oh Draiman is in big trouble! He turns his back on Baker, trying to create some distance but Baker rushes him, striking wildly and Draiman goes down! The referee tackles Baker into the cage to end the fight! Baker is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johny Baker!
