And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Alec McRaven!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRaven takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Atherton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Atherton.

Atherton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McRaven tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Atherton is in McRaven's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

McRaven throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

McRaven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Atherton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Atherton postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McRaven looks a forlorn figure.
McRaven is in a horrible position here. Atherton smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We've been hearing that Atherton has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
