Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emanuel Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Barbosa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Barbosa.
Cameron drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Barbosa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Barbosa lands a nice uppercut.

It looks like Ruben Cameron has been cut.
Cameron blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cameron wants to break the clinch but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Barbosa holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barbosa wants to stand up but Cameron is controlling him.

Cameron wants to get up but he can't break Barbosa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Emanuel Barbosa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cameron tries to keep at a distance but Barbosa has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cameron shoots in for a takedown but Barbosa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Barbosa is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Cameron frees his head nicely. Oh but Barbosa has switched to an armbar! Cameron is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
