Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Pandora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pandora kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gonna Fly Now. Jason Bashor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pandora tries to clinch but Bashor moves out of range.
Pandora tries to clinch but Bashor is having none of it.
Pandora bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pandora tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bashor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pandora thows a body kick. Bashor tries to catch it but that hurt him.
An inside leg kick lands from Pandora.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pandora. Bashor shrugs it off though.

Bashor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pandora gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bashor has Pandora pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pandora manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

I was talking to Pandora's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Pandora's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bashor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pandora - the referee stops the clock and Bashor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pandora. Bashor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pandora fakes the leg kick and cracks Bashor in the body.
Pandora throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bashor.
Pandora lands with a kick to the temple. Bashor shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Bashor is rocked!
Pandora throws a powerful right kick. Bashor tried to block low but the kick was high! Bashor was taken right off of his feet! Pandora jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Arthur Pandora!
A relieved looking Arthur Pandora thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
