Pierre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcgillicutty but Mcgillicutty pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mcgillicutty pushes Pierre back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pierre is working for takedown but Mcgillicutty is calmly controlling the position for now.

Pierre tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mcgillicutty defends well and Pierre ends up having to push Mcgillicutty into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mcgillicutty will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Pierre up against the cage.

Mcgillicutty lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Pierre quite badly. Pierre pulls Mcgillicutty in close trying to recover. Mcgillicutty postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Pierre on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Pierre doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
