Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Zamora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zamora looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Zamora sneaks back into half guard.

Hunter seems to be looking for submissions.
Zamora keeping control of the position.
Hunter is keen to just control but Zamora is a slippery customer.
Hunter thows a huge punch but Zamora dodges it nicely.
Zamora keeping hold of Hunter's head, controlling as best he can.
Hunter wants to stand but Zamora has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zamora makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zamora.
Hunter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zamora swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hunter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Zamora has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zamora is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hunter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Zamora explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Hunter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunter is stalling here. Zamora is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hunter seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Zamora has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Zamora tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zamora has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zamora is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hunter looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zamora gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hunter is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zamora lets go of the hold and Hunter can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Arthur Zamora!
