Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Mosley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caesar II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross Mosley looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Mosley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Caesar II!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mosley moves into the clinch successfully.

Mosley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mosley forces II back against the cage and clinches.
Mosley prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mosley scores a nice knee to the body.

II is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mosley can't fight it off and eventually II manages to take the fight to the floor. Mosley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
II pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mosley is keeping the position for now.
II with a nice head shot there.
II trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
II wants to control from the top but Mosley keeps moving.

II tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mosley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mosley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and II dives into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
II decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mosley to his feet.

II clinches up against the cage.

II jumps into guard, dragging Mosley to the mat.
Mosley tries to stand but II is controlling from the bottom.
II pulls Mosley in close to his closed guard and prevents Mosley from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caesar II dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


II shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mosley but Mosley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mosley wants to clinch but II slips to the side

so II counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
II trying to control but Mosley is working from the bottom.
Mosley wants to stand and escape but II is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

II working some strikes from top position.
II is stalling in the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
II's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mosley keeping moving, preventing II from controlling successfully.

II stands up and waves to Mosley to follow him.

II scores with a takedown into Mosley's guard.
II wants to control from the top but Mosley keeps moving.
II looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

II decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mosley, up you get!

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mosley!
II tries for a takedown but Mosley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and II counters by clinching up.
Mosley tries to land a knee to the head but II blocks with his arms.
II works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

II breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caesar II showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mosley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

II wants to get back to striking at distance but Mosley won't allow it.

Mosley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on II. That did some damage!
II looks for the body kick but Mosley saw that one coming.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mosley counters with an outside leg kick.
II lands with a nice body punch.
Ross Mosley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
II takes a jab right on the kisser.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
II misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
II fails to land the takedown.
Ross Mosley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caesar II.
II shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
II misses with a body shot
and Mosley counters with a series of strikes. II will be more careful next time no doubt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mosley tries to keep at a distance but II has taken the fight into the clinch.
II tries to pull guard but Mosley holds him up against the cage and eventually II drops back down to his feet.
II is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mosley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mosley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Caesar II seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mosley tries to bum rush II with a series of wild strikes but II uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ross Mosley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mosley throws a left and a right that both miss
and II counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mosley thinking.

And that's the end of the fight!
Caesar II comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got II winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
