The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mettler moves in looking to clinch but Buckmaster pushes him off.

and Buckmaster counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mettler is looking to clinch but Buckmaster is avoiding it.

Buckmaster wants to pass the guard but Mettler is keeping the position.
Mettler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buckmaster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buckmaster works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Buckmaster passes the guard and advances to mount!

After the fight, Buck Buckmaster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
