The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chu is looking to clinch but Aldo is avoiding it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aldo can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aldo is on top in guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Aldo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chu wants to get back to his feet but Aldo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Aldo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Chu is looking to stand back up but Aldo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chu.
Chu has hold of Aldo's hands but Aldo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Aldo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Chu is trying to escape back to his feet but Aldo uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Aldo is working Chu over with some ground and pound from side control.
Chu is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Aldo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Aldo advances to mount.
Aldo tries to control but Chu wriggling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aldo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chu haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jose Aldo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tiger Chu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Aldo swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
