Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Asa Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Konda!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Konda rushes Ali and presses him up against the cage.
Ali swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ali tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ali.
Ali has a couple of punches blocked by Konda.

Konda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ali gets tackled into the cage by Konda. Konda maintains the clinch.

Konda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ali lands a head kick. Konda smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ali misses with a two punch combination.
Konda throws a series of punches but Ali avoids them all with ease.

Konda closes the distance and clinches.
Konda blocks a punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Konda blocks an uppercut.

Konda is trying to trip Ali. He has hold of a leg but Ali is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Konda persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ali is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Konda defends well.

Konda stands up and waves to Ali to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Konda looks to land a combination but Ali avoids it well.
Ali looks to land a right hand but Konda moved out of range.
Konda takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Konda closes the distance and clinches.
Ali misses with a punch on the inside.
Konda tries to break free but Ali pushes him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Ali fails to land.
Ali misses with a short punch on the inside.
Konda blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Konda takes a shot to the head.

Konda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Konda fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Konda connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ali's hands.
Konda throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ali falls off balance throwing a combination

and Konda counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Konda stands up and waves to Ali to follow him.
Sloppy strikes from Ali. Those never looked like landing.
Ali lands a nice shot that snaps Konda's head back.
Konda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ali circles away quickly and effectively.
Ali looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ali backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Konda's temple! It sends Konda violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ali celebrates and the doctors try to help Konda!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Asa Ali!
