Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Showman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Instrumental Core - The Angels Among Demons. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fernando Silva!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showman swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.
Showman being controlled here, momentarily.
Showman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him.
Showman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.
Showman wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fernando Silva wasn't active enough on the ground.
Silva avoids the head kick by Showman.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Showman.

It looks like Fernando Silva has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Showman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Showman wants to slow Silva down by chopping away at his legs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Showman looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Silva blocks a low kick nicely.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Showman throws a head kick that misses.
Showman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Showman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Showman's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Showman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Showman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him.
Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Silva won't allow Showman to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Showman.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva checks the leg kick.

Oooooh!!! Showman has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Showman steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Silva is rocked!
Showman lands with a right and another and another! Silva is in big trouble! Showman lands again and this time it's lights out for Silva! A quality knockout there for Showman.
