The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gop misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Montgomery avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gop lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Montgomery at a distance.
Gop jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Montgomery misses with a jab to the body
letting Gop counter with a right hand.

It looks like Sherwood Montgomery has been cut.
Gop lands the left hand.
Gop circles away from the clinch attempt
and Montgomery takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gop misses with a low kick as Montgomery jumps back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gop digs a good body shot into Montgomery's ribs.

The crowd cheers as Gop lands an impressive looking overhand right. Montgomery doesn't seem phased though.
