Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Bravo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Bravo rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.
Bravo blocks the elbow strike.

Johnson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bravo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bravo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bravo's waist but Bravo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Bravo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bravo throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.

Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bravo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bravo doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bravo but Bravo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bravo tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bravo catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Johnson tries to land a front kick but Bravo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bravo lands with a nice combination. Johnson backs away looking to recover.

Bravo pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
Bravo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Johnson is trying to drag Bravo to the mat but Bravo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Johnson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bravo is defending well for now.

Bravo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bravo is fighting to break Johnson's control of his arms but Johnson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Johnson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bravo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Johnson's body to avoid the submission. Johnson has instead reached around Bravo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Johnson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
