The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irene keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Goodnight Irene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dellal stuffs the takedown.
Irene closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dellal circles away.
Dellal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dellal controlling the position from side mount.
Dellal tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dellal has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Irene is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dellal yanks on the arm and Irene is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dellal.
