The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bronus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Bronus moves into the clinch.

mo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bronus backwards.

mo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bronus blocks the elbow strike.

Bronus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. mo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

mo has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Bronus is rocked!

It looks like Grarlock Bronus has been cut.

Oh Bronus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

mo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
mo has Bronus pressed against the cage. He pushes Bronus back and as he springs towards him off the cage, mo throws a beautiful elbow that sends Bronus crashing to the floor! mo piles on the pressure with more strikes! Bronus is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big mo!
After the fight, Big mo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
