Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micky Darcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakota Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An inside leg kick lands from Darcy.
Darcy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Darcy throws a right and a left that Parsons avoids nicely.

Darcy tries to close the distance and clinch but Parsons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Darcy. Parsons does a little dance to reset his feet.
Micky Darcy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darcy tries to clinch but Parsons is having none of it.
Parsons slaps away a takedown attempt from Darcy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Darcy tries to close the distance and clinch but Parsons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Darcy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Parsons manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Darcy throws a right hand that Parsons ducks under and follows up with a left that Parsons also avoids with ease.

Darcy lands a leg kick that knocks Parsons off balance momentarily.
Darcy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darcy tries to close the distance and clinch but Parsons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Darcy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Parsons keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Darcy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Darcy looks to land a combination but Parsons avoids it well.
Darcy misses with a takedown
and Parsons counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micky Darcy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Parsons is staying tight to Darcy's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Parsons scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Darcy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Parsons can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
