Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fenton Meeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Andreev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreev has chosen Oskolki by Amatory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Meeks.
Andreev tries to close the distance and clinch but Meeks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Andreev jabs at Meeks's body.
Meeks gets the takedown into side control.
Meeks thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Meeks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Andreev misses with a strike from the bottom.
Andreev parries the strikes from Meeks easily there. Meeks is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Andreev to escape.
Meeks wants to control but Andreev is keeping him busy.
Meeks throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Andreev pushes Meeks away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Meeks gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Meeks postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Andreev listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Andreev.
Meeks is breathing heavily.
Andreev moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Fenton Meeks has been cut.
Andreev fails in his attempt to clinch.
Andreev looks to throw the jab but Meeks is out of range.
Andreev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Andreev looks for the body kick but Meeks saw that one coming.
Andreev misses with the combination.
Meeks moves out of range of the strikes.
Andreev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Andreev drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Meeks right on the button. Meeks goes down! Andreev follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Andreev gets the win via TKO!
