Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giro Grubaneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Trezeguet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Giro Grubaneiro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Giro Grubaneiro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grubaneiro swinging wildly here.
Grubaneiro missing with a left hand there. Trezeguet was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Trezeguet moves out of range of the strikes.
Trezeguet throws a low kick but it's checked well by Grubaneiro.
Grubaneiro misses with a double jab
and Trezeguet counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Trezeguet connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
No luck for Trezeguet with that takedown attempt.

Trezeguet clinches up with Grubaneiro and pushes him back against the cage.

Trezeguet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Grubaneiro misses with a double jab
and Trezeguet counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Grubaneiro is breathing heavily.
Trezeguet misses with a low kick.
Grubaneiro definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Grubaneiro thuds a left hand into Trezeguet's body.
A big left from Grubaneiro misses.
Trezeguet throws a leg kick but Grubaneiro checks it.
Grubaneiro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trezeguet connects with an inside leg kick.
Trezeguet throws a low kick but Grubaneiro avoids it.
Trezeguet connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Giro Grubaneiro has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trezeguet dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grubaneiro. That did some damage!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trezeguet finds Grubaneiro's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Grubaneiro flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Trezeguet lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Grubaneiro will be OK.
