Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wojciech Durlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wojciech Durlak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wojciech Durlak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bastian Nokia!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durlak throws a head kick that misses.
Durlak looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Durlak looks for the body kick but Nokia saw that one coming.
Durlak throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nokia counters with a head kick.
Nokia avoids a kick to the body.
Durlak throws a sloppy body shot

and Nokia counters with a single leg into guard. Durlak didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Nokia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Nokia pushing down on Durlak's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durlak is trying to control but Nokia manages to pass to mount!

Nokia fails to take his opponent's back.
Durlak is trying to reverse the position but instead Nokia has taken his back - oops!
Nokia has the hooks in. Durlak is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Nokia is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Nokia's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bastian Nokia wasn't active enough on the ground.
Durlak misses with a body punch
and Nokia counters with a head kick.
Durlak looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Durlak throws a head kick that misses.
Nokia checks a leg kick.
Durlak throws an off balance right hand

and Nokia counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Durlak's guard now.

Nokia not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bastian Nokia hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Durlak misses with a left hand

and Nokia counters with a takedown into side control.

Nokia has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Durlak!
Nokia controlling his opponent.
Durlak definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bastian Nokia dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Durlak shoots in and bounces Nokia off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Nokia uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Durlak.
Durlak misses with a lunging right hand

and Nokia counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Durlak wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Nokia is now in half guard.
Nokia is taking a breather. Durlak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Nokia tries to pass to full mount but Durlak defends it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Well, if Nokia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nokia has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Durlak tries to hold on but Nokia postures up.

Nokia controlling the pace for now.
Durlak is trying to escape the mount but Nokia keeps good control and instead manages to take Durlak's back.
Nokia is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Bastian Nokia has got the better of the ground game so far.

Durlak tries to escape but Nokia has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Nokia controls the action.

and Nokia counters with a head kick. That will keep Durlak thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bastian Nokia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Durlak throws a left and a right that both miss

and Nokia counters with a single leg into guard. Durlak didn't expect that.
Nokia controls from within his opponent's guard.
Nokia slips nicely into half guard.
Durlak wants to control the action here but instead Nokia manages to pass to full mount!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nokia controlling the position easily from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nokia moves to take his opponent's back.
Nokia has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Durlak's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Durlak tries to break free.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
What can Durlak do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Bastian Nokia has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Durlak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Nokia wriggles free and stands up.
Durlak throws a head kick but Nokia moves out of range.
Durlak misses with a jab to the body

and Nokia counters with a nice double leg into side control. Durlak won't be happy with that.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Let's hope that Nokia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Bastian Nokia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nokia winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
